TRIAD³ is made up of Miss Jacqui, Ellie Page and I. We are an intersectional triad of disabled womxn; creators and experts in our fields. We are an active and complete circuit of flowing energy which we share, exchange and develop.

This art practice began as part of a Develop Your Creative Practice award made by Arts Council England. We had known or at least been aware of each other four a couple of years online, but hadn’t worked or communicated together as a trio.

We started with quite practical discussions about what kind of formation we wanted to take, what kind of services we would want to provide once we have established ourselves as a business, however it became clear that it would be better, though perhaps unconventional, to do things backwards… To create what we are before deciding it.

Since March I have been part of Triad³ an ACE funded arts practice trio which centres collective care

Triad³ is an intersectional trio of disabled womxn creators. We all found working as freelance artists whilst shielding through a pandemic isolating. So when Ellie invited Jacqui and I to work with her, we all decided to create a support network for one another.

Our first exhibition introduces our practice and way of working together. Visit it here: Exhibition, work in progress

In March the members of TRIAD³ Ellie Page, Miss Jacqui and Charlie Fitz discussed collective care and mental health onto an episode of the 'Lively Minds' Podcast.

Lively Minds is a fortnightly podcast, hosted by Ellie Page and Will Sadler. "The show is less about how we deal with our mental health problems, and more about how we understand them in the first place."
